My wonderful mother arrived last Friday after a grueling ordeal trying to get over here. She was stuck 1 night in Denver and 1 night in Boston before she made it over the pond to Berlin. She has been adjusting to the time change and we have been able to show her around town a bit. We had been telling London that Yaya was coming when the baby comes so after my mom had been here for less than 30 minutes she asked, "So, is the baby coming out now?"
Last week some people moved out of their apartment across the street and it was really interesting seeing how they got the furniture from the top-floor apartment. They quickly constructed an elevator thingamabob and lowered all of the furniture from the window. London was enthralled. It was great morning entertainment (and I admit I was very thankful for the diversion)!

Towards the first part of the month we made a trip to Potsdam on the train and walked around the gardens around the palaces. It was really beautiful with all the spring flowers in bloom and it was a beautiful sunny day! Here are some pictures from that also:

They've turned the fountain on in the square now and London loves putting her feet in!
Yaya brought a purple dress-up dress that my dad's mom (Grammy) made for Christina when she was about 4. London loves having another "twirly, twirly, twirly dress" to play around in. Here she is pretending to be a princess.
